Premiered by Ensemble Q in 2018, the Concerto for Cello and Wind Quintet has been performed by Ensemble Q at Queensland Conservatorium Theatre, at the Australian Festival of Chamber Music, for Musica Viva livestream and in 2024 will feature on a national tour of Australia for Musica Viva. It was performed in 2023 by Ensemble Liaison and the Australian Wind Quintet at Elizabeth Murdoch Hall, Melbourne Recital Centre. It has been aired on ABC Classic FM.
The work is scored for cello, flute, oboe/cor anglais, clarinet/bass clarinet, bassoon and horn.
